For those who play InnoGames' browser game The West: I have just released Westtools, a site intended to be a source of tools that the well-known Weststats lack.

There is only one tool for now, the Inventory Calculator, which allows the selection of the inventory items that the player would sell in the future. The selection can be saved and the total value is always available.

I've finally discovered Last.fm. I created an account, I've downloaded and installed the last.fm client and I sometimes follow the statistics.

I've recently discovered they also have a last.fm client for Linux users, but I haven't managed to install it yet. :-D I keep trying...

I must confess I wasn't happy at all with the old design of this website and it was really affecting my creativity and making me stay away from it longer than I would've wanted. It was time to say stop to that and go for a facelift.

I like the new face a lot better. It's based on the old version of my site, the one hosted at devnull.ro, which I know many people liked. I gave up the colours and tried to stick to tones of grey to match my serious side (I do have a serious side, y'know! :-).

And, as one change calls for another, I also decided to rewrite the site's code, using CSS/XHTML. Being my first approach to this technique, it wasn't easy at all, and I'm still not sure it displays well in all the browsers. Please use the contact form to let me know if you spot any problems with this website.

Speaking of the contact form, I have no idea how to rewrite it using CSS, so I kept the old table format. You're more than welcome to lend me a hand on this ;-)

I've been postponing the launch of this website for more than two months, due to lack of inspiration in design matters (I've never been good at this, anyway), but this had to end! I decided to launch it just as it is and sort of create it on the fly. I really do hope I'll have it updated very often.

...and by this I mean that starting today I have my own domain and hosting. I hope to have some content on the website very soon too.
